challenges

Overview

A premium automotive brand wanted to explore peer-to-peer car-sharing for their vehicle owners—allowing them to lend cars to trusted friends and family through a mobile app.
The challenge was complex:
  • Vehicles worth $60K+ sitting idle 23 hours per day
  • No easy way to share with trusted contacts
  • Insurance and liability concerns preventing casual lending
  • Existing solutions (Turo, Zipcar) designed for strangers, not social circles
Our mission was to design a mobile experience that made sharing premium vehicles feel as natural and trusted as lending a house key while addressing security, insurance, and convenience through thoughtful UX.
